A living room that breathes atmosphere and comfort
Upon entering, it immediately becomes clear that this home has been designed with great care. The spacious entrance hall is finished with ceramic floor tiles extending throughout the entire ground floor, including the garage. Underfloor heating provides pleasant supplementary warmth. The stylish wooden staircase forms an elegant focal point of the hall.
Through distinctive double doors you enter the living room, an impressive living space where daylight streams in from multiple sides. Large windows create a bright and open atmosphere, while horizontal blinds provide privacy and comfort. The double French doors, fitted with insect screens, naturally connect indoor and outdoor living.
At the centre of the living room, the gas fireplace adds warmth and ambience. On winter evenings, this is a wonderful place to gather, with the soft glow of the fire indoors and the illuminated garden creating a charming backdrop outside.
Luxury cooking and enjoying time together
Adjacent to the living room, sliding doors lead to the full-width kitchen-diner. Completely renovated in 2023, it features an attractive peninsula and a spacious corner layout. The kitchen offers ample workspace and storage and is finished with composite worktops and a matching splashback.
Cooking becomes a pleasure thanks to the Boretti induction cooker, various Siemens built-in appliances, a Quooker tap and dimmable recessed lighting.
This kitchen is more than just a place to cook. It is a space where daily life comes together; where family and friends gather, enjoy long dinners and each other’s company.
First floor: three bedrooms, balcony, bathroom and laundry room
The spacious landing provides access to three bedrooms. The principal bedroom at the rear of the property is a particularly pleasant and bright room, featuring air conditioning, a walk-in closet and direct access to the bathroom. Through double French doors, you also have access to the generous balcony stretching across the full width of the house. A fantastic place overlooking the garden and meadow, where every day feels like a holiday.
The two additional bedrooms are located at the front of the house. These rooms are also generously sized and benefit from abundant natural light.
The bathroom is finished in soft brown and white tones and features a wide vanity unit with double washbasins and a heated mirror, a bathtub and a spacious walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and dimmable lighting complete the space.
This floor also includes a separate toilet and a practical laundry and drying room. The landing and bedrooms are finished with laminate flooring, which continues onto the second floor.
Second floor: two additional bedrooms and a second bathroom
The second floor offers two more bedrooms. The largest bedroom has a particularly charming appearance thanks to the sloping rooflines and dormer window. The second room, equipped with a Velux roof window, is ideal as a guest room, study or hobby room.
Several windows on this floor are fitted with insect screens, as is one window on the first floor.
For additional comfort, a second bathroom has been installed on this level, equipped with a shower, washbasin, third toilet and underfloor heating.
The technical room is accessible from the landing and houses the central heating boiler and heat recovery ventilation system (HRV).
Park-like garden full of life
The sunny southwest-facing rear garden has the appearance of a small park. A varied combination of trees, shrubs and lawns creates a green and natural environment where every season has its own charm.
The garden attracts a wide variety of birds that find food and nesting places among the greenery. At the rear, the garden borders a meadow. In spring, you can watch lambs happily and curiously wandering along the fence.
Thanks to the various seating areas, there is always a pleasant spot to enjoy, whether in the sun or shade. A large electrically operated awning (2021) is mounted on the rear façade and can be controlled by remote control. The garden also features a spacious, piled and heated veranda with lighting. A wonderful place to relax on warm summer days, but equally enjoyable during the evenings and colder months.
Whether you seek peace and relaxation or enjoy entertaining family and friends for a barbecue or garden party, this garden offers all the space you need.
Heated garage, carport and ample parking
At the front of the property is the heated and insulated garage with an electric sectional door and the inverters for the 14 solar panels. The garage is accessible both from outside and from within the house and provides ample space for bicycles, gardening equipment and storage.
The property also benefits from a carport and a spacious driveway with parking for at least three cars.
This villa combines generous living spaces, abundant natural light, high-quality finishes and a beautiful green setting. A special home where peace, space and comfort come together in perfect harmony.
Quiet yet centrally located
This attractive home is situated in a quiet, low-traffic street. Schools, including the British School, and childcare facilities are within cycling distance, as are the shopping centre, fitness facilities and healthcare centre.
The area offers plenty of play opportunities for children of all ages. Public transport is nearby, with a direct connection to the Mall of the Netherlands, while the A4 and A12 motorways can be reached within minutes.
Do you enjoy cycling and walking? Then this location is ideal. Zoetermeer, Delft, Leiden and Scheveningen can all be reached by bicycle within half an hour. The Nieuwe Driemanspolder is close by, and within fifteen minutes you can walk to the historic lock in Leidschendam for a delicious ice cream.
